At times I enjoy creating pieces which are somewhere between realism and abstraction.  Red Cluster Flower was painted on location in the Rocky Mountains. It is part of my series I have entitled Natural Forms. Goldenrod Abstracted, Mushrooms and Foliage and Logs Abstracted make up the rest of the series. My framing is always archival. The frame on this painting and on the rest of the paintings in the series is gold metal.
