One autumn during the height of color I focused on painting at nearby state parks and natural areas. I had been to Pewitt's Nest a few times before this particular day but the park's entrance is not overstated and I was challenged in finding it. But my traveling time proved to be quite worth the beautiful subject matter I found there. This painting is matted but unframed.
