This art was commissioned by Pellitteri Waste Systems for their second floor kitchen. I was given a tour of their waste treatment facility. There I obtained most of the material used for the artwork. First step, of course, was a thorough cleaning. I painted the board's surface with acrylic paint and used construction glue to adhere the elements. A final pouring medium not only gave the art its permanently wet look but also provided additional adhesion. I love this type of project. Pure design.
