I was inspired to use this pattern for a series of still life paintings as I was using this napkin while eating breakfast one morning. I spent quite a long time arranging the silver over the elements of the pattern. The directions set by the silver needed to be pleasing as the silver really functions like arrows on top of the cloth. I entitled it Patterns because of pattern over pattern. My framing is always archival. This painting is surrounded by a very elegant off white painted wood.
