Nesting by the Water and Singing Among the Branches

This cut paper was inspired by Psalm 104:12 "The birds of the sky nest by the waters; they sing among the branches." Though it is a fanciful and illustrative piece I wanted the elements to be indicative of the area in which I live.
I researched what kind of branches might hover near water (willow) and what type of bird might nest there (yellow warbler.) Psalm 104 is beautifully poetic in its depiction of God as Creator.
