The painting method I used at the time was a departure. I believe that I achieved great results with it so have continued to employ it as it fits the particular subject matter. After completing the drawing I wet the negative space around it and layered washes of pigment as they dried one after the other.  My framing is always archival. The frame is bronze metal.
