I did this painting for a show I curated a number of years running called Art of the Garden. Since we hung the show in July and I was responsible for the oversight I did a number of my paintings the winter beforehand. This painting was a very enjoyable experience and a bit of a departure into abstract. I wet the paper and into it floated pigment until I got the feeling of moonlight in a garden. My framing is always archival. The frame is distressed grey painted wood.
