I have used these green glass cups as subject matter a great deal. The cups and the green shadows they cast are tremendously fun to paint. Though made up of vastly different materials both the glass and the flowers are fragile. This painting was done as one of a series. The other three paintings in the series are Lastand Loss and Pride. My framing is always archival. The frame is a whitewashed maple with a gallery format.
