My husband is a fly-fisherman and will scout out new places for me to paint. We had come to this portion of Spring Creek one summer afternoon and I noted the beautiful landscape surrounding the creek. I also suspected that given the direction the portion I intended to paint was facing- that the shadows at sunset would be interesting and dramatic. We returned a few days later and I painted while my husband fished.
My framing is always archival. The frame on this painting is a brushed gold metal.
